Your stay at Barrakee
The house accommodates up to eight guests. Bed linen and bath towels are included.
Your quote will confirm the total for your dates, any applicable charges, the security bond and the payment schedule before you proceed. Please mention any dogs or a request to use the outdoor spa so these can be considered as part of your booking.
Give yourself time to settle in
A minimum two-night stay generally applies, with longer minimum stays possible during seasonal and holiday periods. The requirement for your dates will be confirmed with your quote.

Before you book
The following is a summary of the current booking arrangements. Read the full booking terms before paying your deposit.
Deposit and payment
A deposit of at least 30% is required to confirm a booking and is due within three days of the booking being accepted by the host. Payment is by direct bank deposit using the instructions on your booking page, or by card where offered.
The remaining accommodation balance is due 30 days before arrival for peak-season stays, 14 days before arrival for Easter and shoulder-season stays, and seven days before arrival for off-peak stays. Your booking advice will confirm the deadline that applies to you.
Security bond
A $750 security bond is payable with the outstanding balance. It is returned within seven working days of departure following inspection, subject to any deductions under the booking terms for damage, loss or additional cleaning.
Cancellations and changes
Please contact Glenys as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your stay. The current terms provide for retention of the 30% booking deposit on cancellation, with amounts paid above that deposit refundable. A $100 administration charge applies to booking variations. Reducing the number of nights is treated as a cancellation of those nights and is subject to notice and minimum-stay conditions.
Further refunds may be considered if the cancelled dates are rebooked, less applicable charges and expenses. Refer to the full cancellation and variation terms supplied with your quote.
Arrival and departure
Your arrival and departure times and access instructions will be confirmed with your booking. If you need flexibility, please ask in advance; arrangements depend on availability.
Looking after the house
Please leave the house clean and tidy, wash your dishes, place rubbish in the appropriate bins and clean the barbecue after use. Report any damage or maintenance issue to Glenys as soon as you can. Additional cleaning and other charges may apply under the booking terms.
A relaxing stay for everyone
- A maximum of eight approved guests may stay overnight.
- Dogs require prior approval.
- Parties, functions and schoolies bookings are not permitted.
- Smoking is not permitted at the property.
- Please respect the quiet residential setting and our neighbours.
- Follow the house instructions for the spa and other equipment.
- Please report breakages, damage or any problem promptly.
